Lennie has lived most of her adult life in South Carolina, but lived in North Carolina, Kentucky, and Florida growing up. She is married to Jack Tucker, and together they have one daughter, two sons, and six grandchildren. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Limestone College; a Masters of Music degree from Converse College; a Masters plus thirty hours in Music and Education from Converse College and USC, and is a Nationally Board Certified Middle School Generalist. From a young age of 12, Lennie has been involved in church music playing the piano, organ, and directing children’s choirs.  In 1971, she accepted her first position as full time minister of  music and youth. Along with a church music position, Lennie taught music in public schools in South Carolina and retired from teaching in 2016.  From that time to the present, Lennie has been actively involved in the music ministry of several churches throughout South Carolina.  She has served in the CCCC music ministry in various capacities since 2006. She feels very blessed to be able to lead people to know and serve the Lord through music. “Without Him, I could do nothing."
