Jody was born and raised in Bennettsville SC. He has (1) an amazing wife of 38 years, Michelle (a recently retired science teacher); (2) an incredible son, Andrew, a graduate of Clemson University and a pastor at Midtown Fellowship Church, Lexington; (3) a precious daughter-in-law, Morgan, a graduate of USC and a Nurse Practitioner; (4) two awesome granddaughters, Lucy Jane and Miller Kate! and (5) a rusty golf swing. Graduating from St Andrews Presbyterian College in 1982 and Duke Divinity School in 1994, Jody is a former Graduate Assistant Football Coach at Clemson and a longtime "Atlanta Brave Wanna-Be" who longs to love Jesus more. Now our Pastor Emeritus, Jody served as Lead Pastor of Chapin CCC from June of 2001 through December of 2025.
